I am an undergraduate student at the University of Cumbria in the UK studying Animal Conservation Science and am currently on a work placement with the ACS Lab. As a student focused on conservation, I have a very wide interest in the natural world. I find great interest in interactions between animals within ecosystems, as well as the effects of humans on these interactions, and am excited to experience the ecosystems here in British Columbia. After carrying out small-scale projects as part of a course in the UK, including projects on moths and seals, I am looking forward to being a part of larger projects with the ACS Lab.
When not working, I enjoy hiking and photography, as well as horse riding when I’m back home.
I am grateful to everyone at the ACS Lab for giving me this amazing opportunity and supporting me for my placement.
