Hakai Team Seeking Graduate Students and Postdocs

Greetings Scholars.

A multidisciplinary team of people from the Hakai Beach Institute, the University of Victoria and Simon Fraser University has gotten together and envisioned a “100 Island Project” in the Hakai area of Heiltsuk and Wuikinuxv Territories (BC’s central coast). Conceptually, it will be at the intersection of Island Biogeography and Nutrient Subsidies (from the ocean).  Tools will include spatial statistics, flora and fauna surveys, molecular tools and more. The project is at its earliest phase of conception, and successful applicants can help shape it.  Fully-funded fellowships for those with strong suitability. For more information, please see this ad
